Sandwiches are good not what I expected but delicious nonetheless. Hidden Deli, their carrot cake was so delicious.
Their sandwich was great! I loved the bread and fresh ingredients. I could've used a little. Ore oil and vinegar, but maybe the bread would've gotten soggy. I definitely think they know what they're doing! The red potato and blue cheese salad was really good! It had red onions, blue cheese, and had a great bite to it, a couple of the potatoes were underdone, but it was still enjoyable. It was very busy, but the food came out fast! I loved looking at everything they had for sale such as meats and cheeses, can't wait to go back and shop! It was inviting and cute. My husband was disappointed I didn't bring home the pickled tongue. I'll have to post about that in my next review!
Lovely little deli I've going to since my college days. Never disappointed by a sandwich or slab or lasagna. Always fresh, always flavorful. Great service. Local gem.
I have been coming to this location for the past 15 years and they are hands down my favorite sandwich in all of Bakersfield. Caesar's deli has quality meats you can taste and their flavors here are so good! There are two sandwiches here that I can not reccomend enough, the Caesar's special and the deep pit beef sandiwch. Both sandwiches are a 10 out of 10 and are so damn good! Of course the special is a cold sandwich and the deep pit is a hot sandwich so keep that in mind if your looking to order. This last time I went with a deep pit and that sandwich is HUGE. Packed with so much flavorful beef and the bbq sauce that is paired with this sandwich is amazing. I was so full when I was done eating, for $11 bucks, not bad at all. Overall, make sure to give this place a try. They are a Bakersfield Staple and it shows in their food. One of my absolute favorite places to eat. From cold sandwiches to hot Caesar's Deli knocks it out the park. Try the spicy chipotle and it'll blow your mind. The sandwiches are so good when my wife and I come we usually both order a different sandwich ask them to cut it in half and swap a half for a half with each other. This also might seem like a really weird flex, but best ice in town!
